Time pushes ceilings to the floor
I think of you as you were
Never used to count
Now I’m counting down
I think of you as you are now
Don’t get unlucky
Welcome back into nothing
Hey, take it easy
Don’t get unlucky
Never used to count
Now I’m counting down
I think of you as you are now
Oceans of doubt yet you float with no anchor
Your mind in the desert
Your heart out to sea
Pit wishful thinking and forgone conclusion
Take both sides in the war
You must weather the storm
Don’t tip the scale
You are both hammer and nail
Wrench in the guts
So what
Time pushes ceilings to the floor
I think of you as you were
A collection of possessions
Bracing for your transcendence
No exception
To the madness of the human condition
Musically this is one of the best hard rock/ heavy metal albums you can get. The vocals gave me pause for a while, but they’re not bad. They just don’t quite fit. Nothing could keep me from these raging riffs though. Metallurgical Fire
Shout-out to Max Weber for putting together this kickass little compilation. If you’re looking to check out songs from some of the most recent Ripple Music releases, this is a great place to start. Every one of these songs is absolutely fantastic and serves as a great primer for anyone new to the label. Kirk Gauthier
ALL HOPE ABANDON, YE WHO ENTER HERE. Through me you go into a city of weeping; through me you go into eternal pain; through me you go amongst the lost people. Hope not ever to see Heaven. I have come to lead you to the other shore; into eternal darkness; into fire and into ice. Do not be afraid; our fate cannot be taken from us; it is a gift. - Inferno, Dante Alighieri.
